Selected Team Cup - Football is an invitation tournament for girls Born 2000 and 2004 (12, 13, 14 and 15) and boys Born 2001 and 2003 (13 to 15 years).  

The tournament begins with a group play. Teams are divided into groups of four, where all teams are playing each other once. The first and second team of the group qualify for “Play off”, the other two teams of the group for “Placement matches”.

The tournament is played under all applicable FIFA or Swedish FA rules. All players must be insured, both for games and leisure time.

Girls
G15/16 – Girls born 1/1-00 and later
G14 – Girls born 1/1-02 and later
G13 – Girls born 1/1-03 and later
G12 – Girls born 1/1-04 and later (9-a-side)

Boys
B15 – Boys born 1/1-01 and later
B13 – Boys born 1/1-03 and later

There is no limit to the number of players in each team. However only 7 substitutes are allowed in each match of 11-a-side. In class G12 you are allowed to have 6 substitutes during a single match, but only 9 on the playing field simultaneously.

All players must be able to show proof of age and identity.

We recommend that all players use the same shirt number throughout the tournament.

It is given no general dispensations. Dispensation can be made for a maximum of two players who already have an dispensation issued by its district associations, or where there are special reasons. Dispensations for over aged players must be applied for no later than 2016-09-30. After this date, no applications for dispensations will be accepted.

Category A - hotel accommodation (Part of 2-4 bedded rooms):

Breakfast, lunch, dinner and supper is included in the prices. All meals (9 in number) are eaten at the hotel. The accommodation cost includes the Selected Team Cup Card.

Category B - hotel accommodation (single room):

Breakfast, lunch, dinner and supper is included in the prices. All meals (9 in number) are eaten at the hotel. The accommodation cost includes the Selected Team Cup Card.

Category C - Local teams:

Only the teams from Karlstad. This category includes two lunches (Saturday and Sunday) at the Scandic hotel.

Make sure that all your players are insured both on and off the playing field. The Selected Team Cup does not carry any group insurance protecting participants in case of injury, illness, theft or damage to property. Participants from countries that have no medical insurance agreement with Sweden must have personal medical insurance.

PLEASE DO NOT KEEP ANY MONEY OR VALUABLES IN LOCKER ROOM.

For teams reaching the finals, each player will receive a medal, and the teams the Selected Team Cup trophy. The two loosing teams in the play off semi final will receive a third place trophy and bronze medals.

In the event that the tournament can’t be held or is postponed due to events beyond the control of the tournament organizers (force majeure) or due to events which are not attributable to wrongful intent or gross negligence or the tournament organizers, the tournament organizers cannot be held liable by the delegations for any damages, costs or losses incurred, such as transportation costs, accommodation costs, costs for additional orders, financial losses etc. Under these circumstances, the tournament organizers reserve the right to either retain the entire registration/accommodation fee and to use it for a future tournament, or to reimburse the delegations after deducting costs already incurred for the organization of the tournament and which could not be recovered from third parties.

The Selected Team Cup is in no way responsible for injury or economic loss which may arise in the case of war, warlike events, civil war, revolution or civil disturbances or because of the actions of the authorities, strikes, lockouts, blockades or similar events.

To secure your place - register and pay the team fee as soon as possible, but no later than 1 July 2016. The time of your registration calculated from the date we receive your team fee. The fee for participants is to be paid no later than 15 August 2016. Once we receive your team fee we will confirm your registration.

Possibly repayment of housing costs for single player only occurs if you cancel before 15 August 2016. After August 15, 2016 are refunded only on production of a medical certificate. The team fee is not refundable. Once we receive the payment of your registration fee we will confirm your registration.

July 1: Deadline for payment of the fee law. To be sure to get a place in the tournament pay the team fee associated with that you register. Once we receive your team fee we will confirm your place in the Selected Team Cup - Football.

August 15: Last date for the accommodation fee/participation fee for all participants who stay in a hotel. Both leaders and players pay this fee. You can cancel players until August 15, after that a doctors certificate is required.

Deadline for participation fee for all who stay in hotels, players and leaders pay this fee. You can add one or two players, and adjust the names of players after this date. You can cancel players until August 15th. Then the required medical certificate.

September 15: Final date for payments of additional players and orders as special food.

October (7) - (14) - (21): arrival. Matches begin, at the earliest. 13:00

October 7 - 9: Tournament Starts for: G12 and G13

October 14 - 16: Tournament Starts for: G14 and G15/16

October 21 -  23: Tournament Starts for: G13 and G15
